Who We are

Devendrar College of Physiotherapy and Charitable Trust, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli was established with a wide aim to educate and uplift the poor and the down-trodden. With this view, the trust has initially stepped into the field of Medical Science and also wishes to further step forward to widen its scope in the medical field and other fields of education.

The Trust has started the “Devendrar College of Physiotherapy”, in the year 1998, which is a dedicated institution to impart excellent training in Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree course. It is a course that leads to bright prospects for employment in Hospitals, Clinics, etc., within the country and abroad. Our college is affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

An infrastructure with erudite staff, adequate lecture hall, good library, excellent laboratory with all types of equipment is provided for enabling our students to pursue their education.

Our mission is to provide excellent physiotherapy education and to enhance inter-organizational linkage through our strategic future-oriented planning development and to show improvement in all our endeavors.

Our vision is to train general and specialized Physiotherapy professionals of the future and to promote Physiotherapy education and service research systems for community development.
